Share has participated in the Global Wave of Light by hosting an annual event at the National Share Office since 2012. The Wave of Light is a creative concept based on progressive candle lightings all around the world at 7pm on October 15th, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. These candles are lit in memory of the babies who have died too soon. If participants in countries around the world light a candle at 7 pm local time, keeping the candles lit for at least an hour, a Wave of Light will rise and propagate around the world for the whole day.

The Share Staff will be hosting a local event at the National Share Office on October 15th for the Wave of Light. The gathering will begin at 6:00 pm with a time for fellowship and refreshments. At 7:00 pm, the group will light candles and walk around the neighborhood to honor our babies by joining this global movement. Please RSVP to Rose Carlson (rcarlson@nationalshare.org) if you plan to join us. We request that families bring a candle to light and snack to share.

Share your photos and videos of lighting your candle with the hashtag #WOL2017 to join the global community on October 15th!
