Jackie Arnold, MA – Support Group Coordinator
Jackie joined the Share family in April 2017 and comes to us with over 15 years experience working with children and families. Jackie was introduced to, and gained support from, the Share organization after losing her first daughter in 2009. Being a bereaved parent herself, Jackie has made it her mission to help others in need who have suffered an infant or pregnancy loss. She has a Master’s Degree in Counseling and is a trained Parent Companion for Share.
Samantha Brown, BS – PR and Marketing Coordinator
Samantha joined Share as the PR and Marketing Coordinator in October 2016 with a BS in Communication and five years of non-profit experience. She specializes graphic and web design, networking, and social media. She was drawn to Share by the opportunity to combine her love for people and passion for connection through sharing stories.
Patti Budnik, BSN, CPLC – Bereavement Care Manager
With over 20 years of NICU and Labor & Delivery nursing experience, Patti has seen first-hand the benefits of Share programs both for her patients and for herself as a professional. She joined the National Share staff in 2013 as the primary liaison for the Share Companion program. In her role, Patti provides education regarding standards of perinatal bereavement care and Rights of Parents.
Rose Carlson, BS – Program Director
Rose came to Share in 2002 as a volunteer and eventually joined the staff in 2004. She has a BS in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and her personal experience as a bereaved parent brings an invaluable perspective to her work. Rose does much of the research for Share materials and has published articles in several professional journals throughout the country.
Debra Cochran, MA – Executive Director
Debbie joined the Share staff in 2013, bringing more than twenty years in healthcare leadership experience. Her background includes Hospital Education, Home Health, Hospice, as well as a variety of hospital departments, and twelve years of Healthcare Policy at the federal level. She has also served on various boards and community organizations.
Miranda Coker, BSN, SBD, CPLC – Support Group Coordinator
Anne Horton, BA – Chapter Coordinator
Annie joined Share in 2016 as Chapter Coordinator. Annie brings over 6 years of volunteering and coordination experience which she gained working with various chemical dependency and family counseling non-profit organizations in Indiana. She came to know of SHARE following a late pregnancy loss. Annie received a BA in Psychology from Purdue University.
Sherril Jones – Administrative Assistant
Sherril joined the team as Administrative Assistant in 2016. Being at Share has enlightened her to a community that quietly suffers. Sharing my experience of being an administrative assistant and being a present help, allows her to fulfill a personal mission of serving others. She enjoys supporting others to prepare and succeed in their endeavors. Sherril is actively involved in church ministries that serve the needs of the St. Louis community.
Vicki Kiefer, MBA – Accounting Manager
Vicki joined the Share staff in August 2015, with more than 10 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, Human Resources and Compensation. She first came to know Share in 2007 following two early pregnancy losses, and has served as a past volunteer as well. Vicki received a BS in Finance and a BA in French from Emporia State University, and an MBA with Finance and Accounting Analysis concentrations from Washington University in St. Louis.
Sarah Lawrenz, MA – Development Director
Sarah joined the Share staff in February of 2015, bringing 10 years of experience in the fundraising field. She has an AAS in Network Design, a BA in Communications and a MA in Non-Profit Administration.
Shannon Sebastian, BA – Development and Event Assistant
Shannon joined the Share staff in January 2016, as the Development and Event Assistant. With 20 years of sales and management experience, and having previously volunteered at Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition of St Louis on the acquisition committee for fundraisers, Shannon joins the Share’s Development Director to assist with development and event planning. Shannon graduated with a Bachelors of Social Work from the University of Kansas.
Jennifer Stachula, BA – Share Training and Resource Assistant
Jenn joined the Share staff in June 2011 with years of experience working in various areas of social services. Jenn delivers much needed bereavement services across the country to both grieving families and care giving professionals. She assist with the specific bereavement care training and additional responsibilities. Jenn received her Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Pastoral Care from Quincy University.
Melanie Schwob, RN
Melanie joined the Share staff in early 2016. She has over 30 years of nursing experience in labor/delivery/ postpartum. Melanie started a Share Program at a participating hospital in September 2012 and became their chapter coordinator. She also leads a perinatal grief support group. Working with patients as a Labor/Delivery nurse as well as becoming a Share staff member, she is able to provide support, education, and mentoring to her nursing peers as well as the community at large.
