Awareness and Access to Perinatal Bereavement Care (AAPBC)

AAPBC provides access to perinatal bereavement care throughout Missouri for families who experience the tragedy of pregnancy loss and infant death. This is accomplished through training caregivers from Missouri birthing hospitals and clinic provider networks to care for grieving families who currently have no access to care in their communities. The project will also provide much needed resources for these families. Funding for this project is provided in whole by The Missouri Foundation for Health. The Missouri Foundation for Health is a philanthropic organization whose vision is to improve the Health of the people in the communities it serves. Collaborative Partners include:

  • Missouri Hospital Association
  • Missouri Primary Care Association
  • Maternal Child Family Health Coalition
  • March of Dimes

The award of this grant funding will enable Share to carry out our mission and significantly contribute to improving the access to perinatal bereavement care across Missouri, ensuring no family suffers through this tragedy alone.
