Please join Share’s monthly giving club, Rays of Hope! Joining is EASY! Your gift is automatically charged to your credit card every month. We receive your gift immediately, so we can put it to work right away.  When you sign up to make monthly contributions to Share, you help reduce administrative costs associated with processing letters and gifts; and you help Share plan more effectively and accurately by providing a regular stream of income for our work.

Monthly Giving is Easy

For your convenience we have put together some of the most commonly asked questions below about how our program works. Of course, if you have a question not covered here, please feel free to call 636-947-6164 or email your question to slawrenz@nationalshare.org.

Q: Once I’ve made an online gift, how can I make changes to my account (i.e. change amount, change my credit card number)?
A: It’s so easy! All you need to do is drop us a line – phone, mail or email. If we receive your change within the first week of the month we can make the change effective for that month. If not, it’ll take effect the next month.

Q: What if I need to stop giving. Can I stop whenever I want?
A: Of course! Just let us know either by phone, mail or email. Your cancellation would take place the same month, or the following month, depending upon when we received your notice.

Q: Will I receive verification of my donations for tax purposes?
A: All monthly donors receive an annual statement and a monthly email reflecting the prior year’s total contributions. This statement is usually mailed in January.

Q: When will my credit card first be charged?
A: Monthly charges occur once per month. Your first online gift will be charged to your card on the date that your transaction is made. All subsequent charges will occur the same date of each month.

Matching Gifts

Want to maximize the impact your gifts have? Ask your employer to match your donations. Many companies match dollar for dollar, turning a $100 gift into $200 in just a few simple steps.

Here’s how easy it is…

  1. Request a Matching Form from your company.
  2. Complete and submit the form to Share along with your gift.
  3. Share will verify the completed form and return it to the company.
  4. The company issues a matching gift contribution to Share.

Planned Giving

Not only will planned gifts allow us to provide free bereavement resources and materials to the thousands of families we currently serve every year, but it will secure the future of this organization so that parents will forever have a place to turn after experiencing the death of a beloved baby.

Planned gifts can be made in many ways. The most popular gifts are made through bequests, trusts, annuities, life insurance plans and retirement plans. Please take a moment to discuss these opportunities with your attorney or tax advisor and let us know how we can help.
