Share Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support is hosting the
20th Annual Walk for Remembrance & Hope
on Saturday, October 16, 2021.
More than 3,000 people will gather at Frontier Park in St. Charles, MO. The annual event provides families who have experienced the death of their baby an opportunity to openly acknowledge and remember among family, friends and the bereavement community. This event also allows families to walk the steps their precious children will never get to take. Families are welcome to bring flowers to place at the base of the Baby Memorial Wall where babies’ names will be printed.

10:00 a.m. Memorial Service
11:00 a.m. Walk Begins
11:30 a.m. BBQ Picnic Lunch Hamburger and hot dog barbecue lunches can be purchased on the registration form. You will have the option to buy lunch on-site, but we encourage pre-ordering to guarantee availability.
Virtual Walker: Unable to attend? Gather your friends and family to walk virtually! Everyone who registers by September 1st will receive a t-shirt with your baby’s name on the back.
Early Registration (before 9/1/21, 11:55pm): Adult: $25 Youth: $15
Late Registration (after 9/1/21): Adult: $30 Youth: $20
Children 4 and under are not required to register. You may register them if you want to receive a t-shirt. We have 6 months to 5T available. Infant/toddler shirts are only available until September 1st! REGISTRATION WILL OPEN JULY 1!!!
5 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE WALK
- Baby Names are on the T-shirt!
Due to the growth of the Share Walk over the years, we were not able to legibly print all of the baby’s names on the back of the Walk t-shirt. This year we will divide the baby’s names alphabetically into two groups. Based on the baby’s name you provide on your registration form, you will receive the t-shirt design that includes your baby’s name. If you are walking in memory of more than one baby with DIFFERENT LAST NAMES, please contact Rose Carlson to confirm that your baby’s names are printed together.
- Baby Name Wall
In order to continue our tradition of honoring your babies, this year we will create a large memorial wall printed with all baby names received by the September 1st deadline. The Baby Name Memorial Wall will be displayed at the Walk. Families are encouraged to bring flowers to place at the base of the wall and take photos before/after the ceremony. We hope this memorial will commemorate and honor your baby in an impactful way for your family.
- Accuracy Check of Baby Names
It is our desire to eliminate potential errors on the Baby Name Memorial Wall and the t-shirt. To ensure accuracy, we will post the list of baby names, received by the September 1st deadline, on our website September 2nd and 3rd. Please visit the website to check the accuracy of your baby’s/ies name. Complete the contact form on the page or email Rose Carlson (firstname.lastname@example.org) to inform us of any corrections. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of spelling if you do not contact us with corrections BY SEPTEMBER 3rd.
- SEPTEMBER 1st DEADLINE-
If you DO NOT register by September 1st:
- Your baby’s name(s) will NOT be printed on the Baby Name Memorial Wall or the Walk T-shirt
- You MUST give your “Walking in Memory of“ baby name(s) at the Baby Name Tent the day of the Walk to be read at the ceremony
- You will not be able to order additional merchandise until the day of the Walk (first come, first serve basis)
5. T-shirt Pick-Up is First Come, First Serve
Please pick up your t-shirts at the National Share Office. T-shirts will be guaranteed on a first come, first serve PICK-UP basis. You will no longer be guaranteed a shirt based on the date of registration.
