Start a Share Chapter
If you are interested in starting a new Share Chapter, the most important requirement is the desire and commitment to helping families who have suffered the devastating death of a baby, at any stage of pregnancy or early infancy. If you have suffered such a loss yourself, Share does require that it has been at least 18 months since your loss before you begin the process of starting your group. Please contact Rose Carlson, rcarlson@nationalshare.org or call 1-800-821-6819 to obtain an application packet and discuss your desire to start a group.

Testimonials
On October 8, 2018, our precious daughter, Stella Anna Johnson, was stillborn at 36 weeks gestation due to a cord accident. Our world was absolutely crushed. Life was forever changed. Our family continues to grieve and miss our daughter every single day. The hospital we delivered at had been donated a Caring Cradle by an organization called Metro Detroit Share. We were able to keep Stella with us for two days. Our family, including our then 3 year old daughter, Stella's big sister, was able to come meet her. We held her, sang to her, we did our best to fit a lifetime of love and parenting into those two days. Throughout the last year my husband and I became involved with Metro Detroit Share, we were even able to fundraise and donate another Caring Cradle to a local hospital so that future families will have time with their precious babies.

We lost our son and wanted to give up and move a million miles away from anyone that we've ever known. Just disconnect and shut down. Share Parents of Utah connected us with people who are going through a lot of the same things that we are going through. To feel understood and loved during such a deep grieving process is completely priceless. They have done so much for us and we could never thank the people involved with this organization enough.
